Weird Wednesday

I'm not sure if it was the dreary weather, or the controversy with staffing at my work, but we were quite the edgy bunch today. Even our students were a little wacky - a front coming through? Throughout my teaching career, I have to say that I have seen some definite trends and unusual behaviors in my students when the barometer changes or the moon is full...hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, and we can all work out our issues together. Stay tuned.

I am still working hard on Web 2.0 - and I set up some ideas and a recorder for podcasting - yeah! I saw some fantastic ideas for how to use such a thing with my students - with buddies, to understand a topic, or introduce basics behind things. We could also have sound pieces for kids in listening to books - our own source for audiobooks! The implications are enormous, and I look forward to working with it more! Also, as a teacher, I could use a podcast to teach or explain something when I'm absent, or to make sure I include everything I'd need to teach students during a future presentation of the same info - WOW!

My brain is swimming, and I still have much to do this evening. I'll check in more tomorrow.
