John Deere Green

We spent Saturday in Lake City with my family - many of my relatives on my mom's side were going to be in town, so we thought it would be a great day to run down and spend some time with them. When we arrived, Grandpa JR had a special surprise - he had visited his "special" John Deere store in Plainview, and brought back some toys for their house - one motorized, one not, and a special hat. We then found out just how smart (and mechanically inclined) our young child is - Daddy was able to teach him how to work a "gas" pedal very quickly - and off we went! By the way, sorry about it being sideways - apparently, video cannot be changed in it's direction from this camera like photos can (oops!).

I also worked with my mom to put together an Easter basket for him, and she was very helpful! She also had a great time playing with Grayson with a few toys we brought with. She is doing so very fabulously - I realize now that we didn't even take a picture of things, and I wish we had - oh well, more soon.

I know I keep repeating myself, but he is soooo much fun! We are so excited to see what this spring and summer will bring as we get outside and continue to run around and explore everything. Today we are off to brunch with the Schmidt clan, and then to Grandpa Bob and Grandma Joyce's house, where Grayson will be given another item we are very excited about (more details soon)! Grandparents are so caring, and so generous - we love them all very much!
