The snow is flying as I look out the window, and I'm thinking of how much I enjoyed the grass that was poking its head out of the ground this weekend...ho, hum.
We had a quiet weekend - we went to the gym, played, and I was able to go scrapbooking with a few friends and really enjoyed the chatter and catching up on my pages. On the sad side, Russ's grandma Leila died Saturday, so we will be traveling up to Detroit Lakes later this week to be with family. She did live a long and full life (she was 95), but death is never easy.
On Saturday, Grayson got a new haircut. Neither Russ nor I particularily love it (we know some other people really do), but we know that we need to experiment with different styles to see what fits him best. It is really short, but the plus is that hair cuts won't have to come again for a bit! He is growing up so fast - we can't believe how much of a big kid he is both in looks and in his actions! Here's a picture from just after he woke up this morning, and was eating breakfast. I'm sure he'll love me for this one when he gets older.

I can't believe how different he looks with his hair short!! But it will save some cash and some time not to have to get haircuts so often.
