This weekend, we had the chance to hang out with some friends and their kids. The Horwaths and Chandlers ventured up to Blaine to meet us, and we began our time together with bowling and food. The kids had a great time running around, shooting the ball down the lanes, and eating some snacks. From there, we bundled up and went sledding at a local hill. Though there were the few obligatory crashes, it was a beautiful, sunny time and we all really had fun! Our kiddo was a crabby mess when he got home, but it was well worth it.
That night, he spouted out another hilarious comment that I don't want to forget. Grayson was wanting another snack, and he doesn't always remember to use his manners when he wants something. After his demand, I told him I wasn't going to give him his food if I didn't hear the magic words. He came over to me, put his head on the chair's arm, and said, "Abracadabra!" Good effort, but not exactly what I was looking for, though it gave Russ and I something to laugh about for a while!
