October's ending...

Once again I've strayed away from my blog...in my defense, while trying to avoid excuses, I am a bit overwhelmed by computer work.  I am in the thick of projects on the computer with my students, working on teacher staff development via computers I'm teaching, and now in two online courses at Hamline which require computer work every night.  I do love technology, but I have a love-hate with it right now.  I'm sure it will be helpful that I just joined Facebook last night...
What have we been doing?  Many things.  Last weekend, we traveled to Wis Dells with Jerry and Emily, and had an absolute blast playing at Chula Vista's indoor waterpark.  Grayson and Maddy were so cute as they played the drum, held hands in the halls, and splashed around together.  Grayson also LOVED Amelia, and we adults found some time to play games, go on some great big-people rides, and relax.  Our kiddo was exhausted by Sunday, but I was sad to go home.

Tuesday, I had the chance to go to NKOTB with Emily in honor of her birthday.  I have to say that as a kid I LOOOVED them, but wasn't obsessed about this week's concert.  However, it was AMAZING, and I had an absolute blast reliving that part of my life through their sets.  The show was totally entertaining, and I find myself in "Blockhead" land again...Thanks Em!
This weekend, Grayson and I traveled to spend time with my family; my mom came home for the evening and we had fun with her and Dad.  We also saw my aunt and Grandma, who is doing much better following her recent emergency surgery.  On our way back to Hugo, we stopped to see Auntie Jenny, who is looking well after her gall bladder surgery - it was a whirlwind, but fun!  Now it's time for the work, so I'd better run!
